Pastry Baker

At Company Bakery, we take pride in crafting exceptional sourdough using traditional techniques and the finest sustainable ingredients. Our mission is to deliver freshly baked sourdough and pastries throughout the city, 7 days a week. We are a fast growing business and proudly deliver bread, pastries and cakes to over 150 businesses and 300 residents throughout Edinburgh. The bakery has become a fundamental part of the Edinburgh hospitality industry.

**The role**

We’re offering an exciting opportunity for the right individual to join us as a Pastry Baker. This role is crucial to our operations and you would become part of our growing pastry department. Your role will include mixing, laminating, shaping and baking pastries for wholesale, as well as seasonal specials for our markets. You will work in a supportive and passionate team, who are always striving to learn and improve our craft together.

**Preferred skills and experience**
- At least 12 months experience in a commercial bakery, restaurant or similar (essential)
- Be familiar working within a hospitality environment
- Quick learner who is detail-oriented

- Pastry shifts run between 5am-3pm. We operate a four day work week with no night shifts

Pay: £22,700.00-£26,000.00 per year
