The primary focus of the Health and Safety Advisor role is to provide efficient administrative support to the Atlanta Health and Safety Manager. This will be an organisational role coordinating multiple sites, helping to deliver the department’s objectives, maintain communication across sites, with a particular emphasis on managing the Health & Safety Management System and its processes and procedures. You will also deputise for the Health and Safety Manager in their absence but are not expected to provide health and safety advice and guidance but to escalate where necessary.

**How will you do this?**

You will support the HS department with providing a clear health, safety, and environmental focus within the company, working with Atlanta Health & Safety Manager to ensure the site complies with its statutory responsibilities including inputting all documentation relating to accidents, first aid and fire training, tests, and drills.

You will provide organisational and administrative support to the HS department in line with agreed guidance (limit of authority, prioritisation, deadlines etc.). With your organisational skills you will organise bookings with sites or external providers (e.g., site audits, assessments, and inspections) You will also coordinate emergency evacuation outcomes across all sites and hold sites accountable for any follow up actions.

You will assist the HS team to liaise with external agencies relation to health and safety matters and takt an active part in the quarterly HS management meetings.

The contractual base for this role is our Manchester office, however as an organisation we are embracing hybrid working, and homeworking/remote working within the UK could be considered. Applicants should be aware that there is an expectation that employees will attend the office as required for their role also travel between sites may be required.

**You will also need**
- Good verbal and written communication skills, including a good knowledge level for MS Word, excel and power point
- Good reporting skills and attention to detail
