Assistant Cook

Assistant Cook required to work in a school kitchen cooking for 300+ meals a day in a team of 10. Duties include assisting the catering manager in cooking of meals to company standard using recipes provided. Serving children at lunch time, clearing down and cleaning. Assisting the cook with any other aspect in the kitchen ie. bookwork. You will need to be trained to be able to step up if for any reason the cook is absent.

Training will be given but some kitchen experience would be advantageous.

Term time only. Monday to Friday. 25 hours per week. £11.44 per hour (paid on spreadover). Uniform provided. Will require a DBS (paid for by TCS).

This is a great job to have if you have school aged children. You will only be working in term time which allows you to spend quality time with your children and not having to worry about child care.
