Buyer - Homeware / Furniture

**Position**: Buyer (12-Month Contract, Hybrid Role)

**Location**: Dundalk, Ireland

You will join a family-owned business with a rich 40-year history, which is a global lifestyle brand specializing in design-led, quality furniture. With a strong presence in the Irish and UK markets.

**Responsibilities**:

- Structuring the buying team for effective collaboration.
- Managing your category independently, aligning with their design aesthetic.
- Sourcing and selecting furniture products in line with customer demand.
- Negotiating pricing and terms with suppliers.
- Ensuring timely product delivery and customer satisfaction.

**Essentials**:

- Buying experience is crucial.
- Familiarity with the buying process and cycle.
- Ability to effectively deal with suppliers.
- Previous experience in a proper buying office, meeting deadlines, and analyzing trends.
- Basic Excel skills are required; training provided if needed.
