Junior Sister

An exciting opportunity has arisen a Band 6 Junior Sister position on Cheddar Ward at Weston General Hospital.

Cheddar Ward is a 26 bedded Acute Medical Ward, that specialises in gastroenterology and hepatology. We are an extremely busy high paced ward.

Your main role as a Band 6 is to co-ordinate the admissions, discharges and transfers through the ward whilst maintaining the safety of patients throughout this process. This is a challenging but rewarding role and the applicant must have excellent communication and problem-solving skills and have the ability to adapt to changing situations when under pressure.

You will also be required to deputise in the absence of the Senior Sister. You will also be responsible in supporting the junior nurses within the team.
