If **'yes'** then we are recruiting for an Laboratory Aide in our post life department. This is a role suited to someone who has an interest in science but who may not have a scientific related education or background.

This role is to be based at our site in **Eye, Suffolk**. You will be working across our modern, purpose built laboratories where you will play a key role in the logístical and operational support of the Fetal Pathology and Sperm analysis department.

Following a comprehensive training and career development scheme, the responsibilities of this varied role will include:

- Stock control and rotation.
- Study set up procedures including precise labelling of pots, label/slide preparation and reagent preparation.
- Preparation and archiving of study specimens
- Adherence to Good Laboratory Practice regulations.
- Undertaking cross-training initiatives within other areas across Safety Assessment.
- The job will involve periods of lifting, pushing and pulling of equipment

**Education**:

- GCSE education level
- Ability to work as a team and learn new techniques
- Ability to follow instruction and pay attention to detail and accuracy

- Is fully aware of Health and Safety requirements

**Experience**:
No experience required as full training will be provided.
