Cellcycle has opened a new department where a requirement for a Technical operative has now become available. As part of the production team you will be part of the challenge to keep a fast paced and efficient recycling process moving in a safe an compliant manner. Supporting your colleagues and ensuring production tasks are completed promptly and right first time.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Loading and unloading of vehicles and containers
- Safe processing and sorting of batteries
- Planned disassembly of automotive and industrial batteries as per the production schedule
- Ensuring safety checks throughout the warehouse and production facility
- Helping out in team tasks such as cleaning equipment and stock audits

**Experience / Qualification / Skills**:

- Engineering qualification minimum level 2 desirable, on the job training will be provided.
- Experience in a fast-paced target driven environment essential
- Forklift licence preferred
- Vehicle loading experience beneficial
- Banksman training beneficial
- Fire extinguisher training beneficial
- Good level of maths and English essential

**Personal Qualities**:

- Good timekeeping
- Good attention to detail whilst working quickly
- Self-motivation to work hard and complete tasks to the best of your ability.
- Great communicator
- Team player
- Flexible approach to working hours desirable

**Salary**: £7.49-£10.42 per hour starting
