Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students, teachers, and parents to provide support and assistance in the classroom. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about working with children, especially those with autism or special education needs.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist the teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities
- Provide one-on-one support to students with special needs
- Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Support students in their social and emotional development
- Assist with classroom management and behavior management strategies
- Collaborate with the teacher to assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and any concerns
- Assist with daily tasks such as preparing materials, organizing the classroom, and maintaining a clean and safe environment

**Requirements**:

- Experience working with children, particularly those with autism or special education needs
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with students on an individual level
- Knowledge of special education principles and practices
- Ability to follow directions and work collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced educational setting
- High school diploma or equivalent (additional education or certification in early childhood education or special education is a plus)
