Artworker

Harkwell is a growing label and packaging print company based in Poole, Dorset.

Harkwell are offering an exciting opportunity to join our fast paced Studio department.

The Studio is a small, close knit team who, between them, handle every piece of artwork that goes through the business. They also are responsible for the creation and distribution of the business’ marketing and social media materials.

**The job role includes-**
- Creating and editing artwork
- Preforming pre-flight checks
- Making sure artwork is print ready
- Creating marketing material for the company
- Speaking to and understanding the needs of customers
- Liaising with the print room

**Applicant must have -**
- Great communication skills
- Willingness to learn and experiment
- Close attention to detail
- Aptitude for technology
- Calm and pragmatic, friendly attitude who works well under pressure
- Works well as part of a team

**Desirable -**
- Background in reprographics/originations/artwork coordination.
- Familiar with self adhesive labels or pouches
- Experience with design and creativity
- Experience with Adobe Illustrator
- Experience with Wordpress
- Experience in a production environment and interest in the print industry.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £19,000.00-£21,000.00 per year
