Dispensary Assistant

**Job Duties**:
We have described the job as ‘dispensary assistant, as it seems the best, brief description of the job. It is not actually based in a dispensary and it is not a pharmacy. However, the work involved is very similar, to include:

- Checking in deliveries of medication

Stock management

Preparing orders of medication for dispatch

Checking orders others have prepared for dispatch

Handling queries and complaints

Administration associated with these activities and regulatory compliance

**Qualifications/ Experience**:
Good communicator and attention to detail

Good team member

Skilled in supervising others (able to demonstrate experience of this)

Good IT knowledge, experience and aptitude

Five GCSEs passes or equivalent

At least three month’s experience in dispensary work (longer preferred), or at least one year’s experience in work requiring a high level of attention to detail.

It will be necessary to undertake training on the job.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From £10.90 per hour
