**The Team & Focus of the Role**:
Would you like to join our established and driven Planning Team in Ashby? We’re looking for a new member of the team to join us to help support and build the team in providing planning consultancy services.

This is a permanent, full-time position based on a 37.5-hour week in our Ashby de la Zouch office (Monday to Friday). We also operate a hybrid working policy.

**The role comprises**:

- Promote residential, mixed use and commercial developments (both Brownfield and Greenfield) through the Local Development Framework
- Conduct research and site appraisals on projects
- Prepare policy representations
- Develop client relationships
- Input to planning appeals
- Be MRTPI qualified or close to submission
- Great interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and manage and prioritise your own caseload
- Team player
- Good understanding of IT and Microsoft Office
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent time/work management
- Ability to work under pressure, plan and meet deadlines whilst retaining high quality work delivery and service to the client
- Good understanding of the planning system and housing market
- Mentoring junior members of the team, including mentoring through the APC process
- Managing budgets and invoicing
