As a User Researcher within ONS, you will be responsible for planning, designing and carrying out research activities to help ONS more deeply understand the users of government services.

You will be experienced in researching user experience, with understanding of best practise and comfortability taking a lead on research activities. As an effective communicator, you'll know how to engage varied stakeholders in analysis and synthesis, and be able to provide effective and constructive critique of colleagues' work. You'll also be able to help teams understand the diversity of users and advocate for inclusive practises to meet users' varying needs.

**Location**: We operate a hybrid working model and fully support flexibility with colleagues already based across the UK working from home and linked to one of our core locations in Newport, London, Darlington, Edinburgh, Titchfield (Fareham) or Manchester

**Salary**: £37,688 - £42,519

**Working Patterns**:All our vacancies are offered as a flexible option of Full time, Part time, Flexible working, Job Share, Compressed Hours.
