**Our Transport Supervisor Opportunity**
Our Transport Teams are vital in keeping us mobile and ensuring our customers get the best possible delivery service.

Our Transport Supervisors lead from the front and are very hands on when it comes to people management. Without their industry knowledge, leadership skills and passion for people development, we would not be the successful business we are today.

**What you will be doing**
- Reporting directly to the Transport Manager, and working collaboratively to ensure the smooth running of the department.
- Providing visible leadership, support and direction to the transport office team and drivers.
- Planning and coordinating resources to ensure twice-daily delivery windows, and customer driven targets are achieved.
- Closely monitoring departmental performance, continuously improving service delivery, and effectively resolving operational challenges as/when they arise
- Briefing and debriefing the department daily, raising and issuing essential documents, clearly communicating duties, delivery windows, targets and other key operational instructions.
- Ensuring all operations are carried out within a safe and compliant environment, whilst maintaining high standards of customer service.

**About you**
- A natural leader and motivator of people and teams in fast paced customer driven environments
- Previous experience in a leadership role within a multi-drop distribution operations would be advantageous
- Must be well organised, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, good knowledge of IT and systems, and a keen eye for detail.
- People focused, with a keen ability to develop themselves and others professionally within a distribution environment.
