Siamo Recruitment currently partner with a dedicated and thriving client, based in Cirencester, of whom seek a Procurement Administrator to join their ever-growing and successful, top rated 6th form College.

You, the desired Administrator will project your enthusiasm, care and professionalism as you support significant areas and personnel within the college.

You will work harmoniously with the Finance team holding regular communications with Budget holders, and Academic technicians, overall supporting staff at all levels throughout departments.

This Administrator will coordinate and manage the college’s purchasing arrangements, maximising efficient use of the funds through promotion and development of central purchasing.

An individual seeking a varied position requiring eye for detail and personal development will thrive in this role as you support across the procurement, tendering process, and contract side of the college.

**This Administrator role will hold the below responsibilities**
- Work closely with budget holders to provide advice on suppliers and ensure College financial regulations regarding purchasing are adhered to.
- Liaise with project managers and stakeholders regarding purchase of furniture/equipment of new builds and internal works.
- Maintain accurate and up to date registers of grant spends commitments cross referenced to Purchase Orders
- Source materials, goods, and service for all areas of the College, negotiating best value and ensuring most cost-effective contracts are delivered.
- Evaluate quotes, raise purchase orders and co-ordinate delivery.
- Monthly check, reconciliation and journals of all College procurement card spend.
- Support implementing the College’s procurement strategy
- Analyse financial data to identify areas where improvements in efficiency and cost savings can be achieved.
- Actively promote the purchasing function of the College.
- Process and review college purchase orders ensuring compliance with financial procedures.
- Participate and support Managers in the negotiation of contract terms for goods and services and ensure that all contracts strictly conform to the policies, procedures and guidelines detailed in the procurement policy
- Maintain an approved supplier list.

- Proven exposure in a similar role
- Confident talent with the ability to grow relationships.
- Confident and proficient with Microsoft office software I.e. Excel.
- Self-motivated team player, able to work under own initiative.
- Ambitious mindset to undertake staff development and additional training updates as necessary.

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
