**37.5 hours per week - Term Time only**

**Netherlea School **seeks to appoint a caring and enthusiastic **HLTA**. The role will involve responsibility for leading on Art & Design and Health and Wellbeing. Our school provides education to young people aged 8 -18 years with SEMH difficulties who mainly live in our residential homes. This is a challenging yet rewarding role where you can flourish within a team focussed on making a positive difference to our young people's lives.

We offer a high degree of differentiation and support within very small teaching groups. This allows all our young people to make good progress, often overcoming previous negative experiences of education.

**Essential**

Experience of working in a challenging environment and understanding the challenges that face young people with ACEs.
Willingness to promote and support our ethos, values and aims.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Interest in Art & Design and Wellbeing.

**Desirable**

You will ideally have experience working with pupils with additional support needs / special educational needs.
Good sense of humour.
