On behalf of our Thetford based client we are looking for a Junior Buyer to join their successful procurement team.

As a Junior Buyer you will be new to your career, with an eagerness to learn and develop.

Your duties will include:

- Placing and expediting orders with suppliers
- Building and managing relationships with suppliers
- Liaising heavily with various stakeholders, both internal and external, to ensure the availability and time lines of materials for production across the site
- Being an active participant in the Supply Chain team to continually drive process and procedural improvements in the daily work
- Monitoring order prices against standard, with an objective to save money
- Supporting the Head of Purchasing

About you:

- GCSE level in Maths and English
- Administration experience within a manufacturing environment
- An eagerness to pursue a career in Purchasing
- Computer literate with excellent general IT skills
- Ability to communicate with people of all levels of the business
- Self motivated
- A proactive team player who is honest, hardworking and reliable
- An interest in personal development
