EM Tuition is a non-profit provider of training and tuition.

We work alongside Essex County Council, providing support for children and young people with barriers to learning and also provide tuition as part of the National Tutoring Programme.

We are looking for a Secondary Tutor/Teacher to provide one-to-one support for children with medical/SEMH needs.

You should be able to meet the following requirements:

- Have at least one year of tutoring or teaching experience (children) and good knowledge of the national curriculum.
- Have the appropriate skills to support the child in question and has experience of working with children who present with attachment based behaviours and needs.
- This role will require someone with an understanding of the above needs, who has a patient and a calm approach to relationship building.
- Be available to work within the child's home with a responsible adult present at all times upto 3 hours a day 5 days a week
- A possibility of full-time work working with more than one child.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary contract

**Salary**: £30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Chelmsford: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
