Green Tutor

**Job Title**: Trainer/Tutor - Kent

**Location**: Barking

**Salary**: £32,000 per year (DOE)

**Role Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
Working under the supervision of the Operational Manager, the Trainer/Tutor will:

- Create exciting lesson plans, timetables, and resources for AEB learners.
- Teach and assess learners on Level 1 and 2 qualifications, including Climate Change, Digital Skills, and Employability.
- Enthuse learners about job and apprenticeship roles in the Green Sector through the Sector Based Work Academy Programme.
- Embed information, advice, and guidance into teaching sessions.
- Utilize One File (e-portfolio), Skills Forward (Maths/English assessment), and Kudos (Careers Advice portal).

**Essential Requirements**:

- Experience of working on ESFA/devolved Adult Education Budget schemes for the unemployed/NEETs.
- Qualified Trainer/Tutor with a minimum Level 3 Award in Education and Training.
- Experience of teaching unemployed learners.
- Knowledge of the Ofsted EIF (Education Inspection Framework).
- Experience of using e-portfolios.
- Experience of delivering digital skills, employability, and environmental qualifications.
- Experience of working with Awarding Bodies and internal quality assurance staff.
- Ability to provide careers advice and information, advice, and guidance (IAG).
- Ability to work under pressure with rolling monthly cohorts of starts.
