Handy Man

You will be expected to be versatile with undertaking multiple duties and responsibilities, on multiple sites including assisting the Management team in ensuring all buildings in our portfolio are functioning correctly and safely and all facilities are fit for purpose.

Duties will include the following:

- Basic Electrical works: replacing bulbs, tubes, LED plug and play units, rewiring sockets, installing timers, basic door entry system maintenance, security cameras and thermostats etc.
- Some Plumbing works: installing new taps, sinks and toilets, and repairing leaks, unblocking toilets and unblocking sinks and pipework as necessary.
- Decorating: painting walls and ceilings, touching up skirting boards and door frames, installing notice boards and putting up pictures.
- Carpentry works: installing Doors, Locks, doing door adjustments, some flooring works including changing carpet tiles, carpets or other hardwood and laminate coverings.
- General window repairs and external door adjustment and repair works.
- Assist in the relocation of or removal of furniture/equipment/files and boxes as directed, and conduct routine inspections of office buildings/facilities reporting back to the Management team
- Liaise with all external contractors that may be retained by the Management for specific projects and help / assist where necessary.

Part-time hours: 16-24 per week

**Salary**: £12.00-£15.00 per hour
