Crumbs is an artisan bakery and cafe based in the beautiful village of Watton at Stone, Herts.
Our mission is to bring people together and create moments of happiness by serving fresh, wholesome food.
As we are growing busier we are looking for Baristas / Front of House to join our team with an immediate start.
The job involves product display, serving hot and cold drinks, making fresh sandwiches, operating the till, serving customers, keeping the shop clean throughout the day and at the end of the shift.
Our usual shifts are Monday - Saturday 7.00am - 4.00pm with a lunch break, Sunday 8.15am - 2.30pm. We are currently looking to increase our Front of House team during the week as well as at weekends. The job can be full time or part time, we are open for discussion during the interview.
**What kind of person we are looking for**:
You must be generally interested in food (but then it’s very easy to fall in love with the food we make), ideally you are a coffee lover, genuinely love serving customers, be punctual, presentable, physically fit as you will spend your shift on your feet, and, most importantly, fit in with our team. Crumbs team is a fun bunch to work with and we are proud of the products we make from scratch in our bakery. If you take yourself too seriously or not interested in making customers happy - we are not the right place for you.
You will receive training in making artisan coffee and cold drinks, making Crumbs sandwiches, serving food, food safety, and stock take.
