**The Opportunity**:
Reporting to the Business Support Manager, the role of Storesperson is to:

- Control and manage all goods receiving of materials. Planning/issuing of inventory from stores. Operating a well controlled stores environment.
- Provide Yard support for Manufacturing operations, delivery/dispatch & load outs
- Provide driving support for Manufacturing operations, deliveries/collections utilising MMA owned vehicles.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Goods receiving of materials from suppliers, issuing of receiving reports and checking material quantities against original purchase order to ensure all material orders are correctly received.
- Goods receiving and identification of customer supplied equipment.
- Traceability logging, identifying and issuing material trace numbers on raw materials and component parts and returns to/from stock.
- Planning/stock materials to fulfill production/manufacturing schedules, maintaining sufficient stock levels.
- To maintain and operate a well-controlled stores keeping discipline, to be able to identify, receipt, issue materials, parts or product and also to demonstrate accurate records of same in accordance with MMA Operating Procedures.
- To ensure that delivered materials, parts, in-process or finished product are handled and stored in a safe manner in accordance with MMA Operating Procedures.
- To be able to maintain records - manual and PC system
- Responsible for security of Stores/Warehouse areas.
- To work in accordance with HSE, COSHH and all other applicable regulations.
:

- General yard duties to support production activity
- Moving fabricated items to various locations within the demise area
- Assisting with the general upkeep of the yard
- Forklift duties offloading/loading goods whilst ensuring yard is tidy
- Prepare and package items for delivery in accordance with MMA Procedures
:

- Deliveries/collections of materials/equipment from vendors, to/from customer’s facility
- Responsible for company vehicle maintenance, daily checks etc.

**Essential Experience**:

- A number of years, not less than three, in a similar position, handling responsibility for inventory control movements, issues, customer owned high value equipment.
- Fully competent and able to manage Stores control systems and able to document issues/receipts movements.
- To have on-hand experience in planning of inventory stock levels within Stores to maintain production flow.
- Fabrication/engineering workshop experience
- Physically fit and able to engage in manual lifting within HSE Regulations.
- Demonstrate ability to work on own and as part of a team in a support role, serving internal and external customers.
- Safety and Quality conscious and proactive in this respect.
- Familiar with HSE, COSHH and all other applicable regulations.
- Computer literate.
- The ability to place on importance of safety above any other requirements.

**Qualifications**:

- Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (Driver CPC)
- Clean driving license (Light HGV to 7.5 ton)
- Class 1 License
- Forklift Licence up to 16T
