**Job Title**: Catering Engineer
**Location**: Will be covering locations of Bridgwater, Taunton & Yeovil and surrounding areas
**Salary**: £35,000 per year
**Hours**: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm. Will also be required to work 1 in 4 weeks on call but will be paid for being on call.
Our very well established client in Bridgwater have an exciting opportunity for a Catering Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.
**Brief Description**: Repairs and maintenance of catering equipment. You will be provided with a van and fuel card and credit card. Tools will be provided, must have your own hand tools.
**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Service and repair commercial catering equipment as allocated.
- Complete installations and commissioning as required.
- Complete surveys as required.
- Fully complete job-sheets clearly.
- Complete quotation forms and obtain any part numbers.
- Ring site ahead of visit to ensure it is convenient to attend.
- Keep vans clean and tidy - in and out.
- Ensure van stock levels are maintained.
- Collect cash from customers as required and hand into office as soon as possible.
- Ensure all paperwork is returned to the office on time, including timesheets and receipts.
- Drive safely and legally.
- Act in a professional manner, whilst on site.
- Promote other services, eg, equipment sales, maintenance contracts, kitchen design.
- Cover 1 in 4 weekends for call outs.
- Ensure Vans are taken to garage for monthly checks on tyres, brakes etc
