Learning Support Assistant needed

**Responsibilities**:

- Work one-on-one with students to provide individualized support and guidance
- Support the delivery of lessons by working with small groups of students
- Assist with the planning and preparation of resources for lessons
- Monitor and record student progress, and communicate this to teachers and parents/carers
- Provide support during exams and assessments
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other school staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for students
- Assist with the supervision of students during break and lunch times
- Attend training sessions and professional development opportunities as required

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working in a similar role, preferably in a secondary school setting
- Knowledge of a range of strategies and approaches to support students with additional needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents/carers
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
- A willingness to undergo necessary background checks and clearance, including an enhanced DBS check
- A flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
