Bradford, United Kingdom Eden Care Homes Full time

This description gives an overview of the post, the key responsibilities, and the context within which the post is offered. It is not intended to be an exhaustive statement of Terms and Conditions within Eden Care Homes.

Eden Care Homes is a provider of residential childcare and supported accommodation services for looked after children and young people. We support children and young people across West Yorkshire and Derbyshire with a diverse range of needs, helping them to make individual choices, achieve goals and take control of their own lives.

With the right support, we know that our young people can realise their dreams and aspirations. Our young people are often the experts by experience - by encouraging individuals to identify and develop their own unique skills and abilities, we can support them to bring about positive change in both their lives and the people around them.

We are committed to excellence in everything we do. The success of our organisation and, crucially, the successes and outcomes of the children and young people with whom we work depends on our ability to deliver consistently excellent services that exceed expectations.

We are aspirational - for our children, young people, our partners and colleagues, our staff and organisation. We aim high, seek out opportunities and do not shy away from the challenges we face. We believe in identifying, nurturing and developing potential and creating a culture of recognition and celebration across the organisation.

We are an organisation with a strong social purpose, trusted by our commissioners and key stakeholders to deliver the services we say we will and most importantly, trusted by our young people to deliver on our promises and by their loved ones to deliver safe and consistently high-quality services.

As a Residential Childcare Worker for Eden Care Homes, you will be key to improving the lives of the children and young people we care for and support. You will be hands on, providing direct care and support to improve children’s lives and young people’s skills for independence. You will be required to provide weekly reports relating to the content of your support for each young person and liaise with other professionals such as social workers and health professionals.
