Job Title: Trainee Lasting Operative

Reporting to: Production Manager

Location: Newman Street, Kettering

Hours: Monday to Friday 40 hours per week (Lunchtime finish on Fridays) You are also required to work such additional hours as may be necessary for the proper performance of your duties or that may be required to fulfil role.

**Ken Hall Summary**:
Ken Hall was founded in 1967 and is a leading manufacturer of therapeutic footwear and orthotic service providers to the NHS nationally. Our shoes are made in the UK and we use some of the latest technology to help achieve the great quality that Ken Hall has become synonymous with.

**JOB ROLE**

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Obtain knowledge of our wide range factory machinery and how it works.
- Learn to operate required machinery and own hand skills to complete your tasks.
- Work in a timely manner adhering to product lead times.
- Work in a safe manor adhering to the company’s health and safety instructions.

**COMPETENCIES**
- Ability to learn on the job.
- Hand and machine lasting skills and understanding of footwear patterns desirable.
- Flexible and able to adapt well to change.
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
