Brewing has taken place on the River Thames for more than 350 years and the **Griffin Brewery** opened there in 1845. Based in **Chiswick, West London** our Griffin Brewery is London’s oldest continuous working brewery and became part of Asahi UK through acquisition in 2019. It was the first brewery to win the CAMRA Champion Beer of Britain award and has produced a wave of acclaimed ales. Through timeless classics, such as Fuller’s London Pride and an ever evolving portfolio, Fuller’s Griffin Brewery has long championed real ale and British brewing excellence, offering beers to suit all consumer tastes.

A fantastic oppoortunity has arisen for a new **Weekend** **Brewery Tour Guide** to join the **Griffin Brewery **retail team working in the our Visitor Centre across the week and weekends. The Griffin Brewery Visitor Centre is the flagship location for brand expirience showcased through the brewery tours and shop.

We’re looking for big personalities and beer lovers to join the Griffin Brewery Experience Team as a Brewery Tour Guide to help us spread the word o London’s oldest continuous working brewery. This role is responsible for providing consumers, sales teams, distributors, and other industry professionals a fun and in depth tour of Griffin brewery and tasting of Fuller's beers.

**Key accountabilities**

The Brewery Tour Guide is responsible for the following key outputs and accountabilities
- The face of our brewery tour experience the Brewery Tour Guide will provide expert knowledge of the Brewery, products, and brand history
- Hosting daily brewery tours for trade tours and public tours
- Acting as a brand ambassador on & off-site including trade events where requested
- Friendly and courteous and confident in dealing with customers face to face, upselling and promoting the brand wherever possible
- Maintaining and creating a superb customer service environment in our Visitor Centre
- Upholding the highest standards of customer service outlined by the Visitor Centre Manager
- Assisting with the organisation and hosting of internal and external events
- Assist with the counting of stock
- Uphold Health and Safety standards and report issues
- Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness in all areas

**Experience required**
- A passion for beer and our brand. We love beer and so do our customers.
- Previous experience with a beer or beverage serving environment is a must.
- Ideally with a cask ale background
- Experience with public speaking, acting, stand-up, performing or hosting events ideally with a beer background

**Working Pattern**
- The role is a Zero Hours contract, working patterns will vary per week
- Weekday Shift Pattern: 11am-6pm
- Weekend Shift Pattern: 11am-6pm
- Although primarily for weekends, occassional weekday shifts will be available
