Toolmaker/machinist

Job Summary:
**Responsibilities**:

- Design, fabricate, and assemble tools and components according to engineering drawings
- Operate manual and CNC machines to grind, weld, and finish tool components
- Utilize AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar software for tool design and modification
- Perform maintenance and repair of existing tools to ensure optimal functionality
- Collaborate with engineers and production teams to address tooling needs

**Requirements**:

- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks
- Mechanical knowledge with experience in tooling and machining processes
- Familiarity with plastics injection molding processes is a plus
- Ability to operate hand tools, grinders, welding equipment, and other machinery effectively
- Strong attention to detail and precision in tool assembly

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
