As a CNC Miller, you will play a pivotal role in transforming design concepts into reality. Your experience in CNC Milling will be essential as your program, set and operate machinery to craft intricate components with precision and accuracy. Collaborating closely with the production team, you will bring your technical prowess to the forefront, ensuring that each product meets the highest standards of quality.

**Responsibilities**:

- Programming, setting and operating of the milling machines
- Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with CNC programs or equipment
- Programming or setting milling machines for trainee operatives
- Maintain accurate documentation of programming and machining times
- Operating several machines at the same time to ensure efficiency
- Routine maintenance of the machines

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a CNC Programmer, specifically in CNC Milling
- Proficiency in working with Hurco Controls or other relevant software
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and specifications (close tolerances)
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on precision and quality
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
- CNC turning would be an advantage but it is not essential

Please note that this is not an entry-level position. Experience in CNC programming is required. This role reports in to the Lead

**Salary**: £12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
