**CARE (CFE) ADMINISTRATOR JOB DESCRIPTION**

**Job Purpose: Administrator**

The Administrator is responsible for the assisting the team with all administrative duties in supporting clients to access appropriate sustainable accommodation from our temporary accommodations.

We are looking for professional and proactive individuals to play important role in the delivery of key administrative service to our Supported Accommodation service in Leeds and Wakefield office.

We are looking for team players with experience of communicating with a range of stakeholders, organising and providing hands-on support to our clients.

As a first point of contact strong administrative skills in addition to excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.

**Accountable to: Housing Support Manager**

**Responsibilities**
- Managing the office and welcoming all clients and visitors including telephone calls and all office correspondence.
- Supervising general administrative work, designing office work flow, assessing and providing feedback to improve internal performances.
- Performing data entry roles including updating records, systems and data bases for the team, personnel, financial and legal information
- Managing inventory of office supplies, including stationary and multi media equipment to ensure smooth office operations
- Engaging with people who are socially excluded and may have a variety of needs including homelessness, anti-social behaviour, needs arising from refugee status, needs arising from domestic violence etc.
- Assessing client’s needs and formulating with the client an individual support plan which identifies the action to be taken. To identify any inherent risks before, during support and formulate with the client a constructive risk management plan that balance the duty of care with the promotion of independent living.
- Identify other agencies who can contribute to meeting the clients support needs and actively engage with these agencies. Encourage clients to participate in chosen training and /or educational opportunities together with less formal learning activities.
- Assisting clients to achieve economic well being including income and benefit maximisation, reducing overall debt and assistance in identifying opportunities to participate in paid employment.
- Support and assist clients to access appropriate sustainable accommodation. Being active in ensuring that the range of tasks involved in moving to a new home are undertaken and complete successfully
- Keeping accurate written records in accordance with the requirement s of the organisation and funders. Maintain case notes to high standard and review support plan and risk assessment in a timely manner.
- Ability to represent both the client and the Organisation whilst carrying out the duties of the post
- Submit clear and accurate reports and performance indicators, commensurate to the levels of the post.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the service and contribute toward efficiency gains.
- To attend and participate in team meetings, supervisions, appraisals and training as requested by the line manager.
- To follow best practice guidance regarding Safeguarding, Health and Safety, Diversity, Equality and managing risks legislation to promote independence.
- To support anti-discrimination policies and procedures and promote equality of opportunity at all times.
- To report any significant issues, notifiable events or concerns through line management channels.
- To undertake such additional duties appropriate to the post and to support the organisation’s wider goals by working flexibly across the organisation from time to time as determined by line manager.

**Salary**: From £20,000.00 per year
