Policy Officer

Futures Recruitment Services are supporting a local authority with a highly unique opportunity for a Policy Officer to join one of the Service departments and offer operational support to the department manager.
This role is a new opportunity within the business and will be to support the exciting manager with enhanced implementation of organisational procedures.
Various factors of these will need to be shadowed, reviewed, and republished for the team to implement
**Key tasks and responsibilities for Policy Officer**:
- Conducted a service review of the department
- Review all procedures and Policies
- Identify and Analyse any gaps or areas that lack transparency
- Ensure workers have the appropriate training and knowledge for their role.
- Review exciting training procedures and manuals.
- Enhanced and create new training programs where required
- Work seamlessly with the department manager to ensure the operational improvements
**Skills and Attributes for the Policy Officer**:
- Strong comprehension of the Housing Sectors
- Proven process management experience
- Previous experience conducting service reviews
- Excellent knowledge of reviewing processes and policies
- Understanding of developing relevant training material and packages
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
