**About the Job**

In this role, you will be assisting the senior breeder and breeder to breed new varieties of winter wheat. The role involves hands on day-to-day involvement with all aspects of the wheat breeding programme, assisting with the design, preparation, drilling scoring and harvesting of trials, and field selection of core breeding nurseries. You will also be assisting with the growing, management and crossing for the UK based programmes, preparation of grain samples and supervision of temporary staff. The role will be both field and office based.
