Plant Fitter

Stable Hire Ltd is an independent family-owned multi depot plant hire company.

We are looking to recruit an experienced plant fitter for our depot in

Stamford Lincolnshire, Someone who is confident dealing with plant & small tools, with a good working knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulics systems.

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the industry with relevant industry-based qualifications.

Experience of working on Mini Excavators from 1t to 13t, site dumpers,

ride on rollers, telehandlers as well the full range of small tools that are associated with this industry.

Fault diagnosis, repair and servicing of both our own machines as well as our customers own equipment.

Preparation and inspection of hire equipment.

Capable of carrying out repairs & servicing and in depot and on site as required.

The ability to work within a team, as well as being able to work on their own initiative.

Strong knowledge of diagnosing faults with machinery.

Good communication skills, along with ability to deal with the general public.

A full UK driving licence

HGV licence would be advantageous, however not essential.

Forklift Truck Certificate would be advantageous, however not essential.

Full-time, Permanent. Salary negotiable dependent on experience. Salary is to be discussed within the interview process.

40 Hours per Week basic plus overtime at enhanced pay rate.

No weekend work

Auto enrolled onto the company pension scheme

20 days holiday per year plus Bank holidays
