Quantity Surveyor

Salary - £35,000-55,000p/a TBC

23 days holiday + bank holidays Scope of works - Earthworks, Infrastructure, Civils and Groundworks
- Understand contractual terms and conditions.
- Prepare take-off and material schedules
- prepare and analyse project costings for labour, plant, material and sub-contract items including sub-contractor comparisons
- prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities and Activity Schedules
- Negotiate contracts terms, attendances and payment schedules
- Prepare and issue subcontractor orders, overseeing all commercial performance throughout the contract duration
- perform risk, value management and cost control during construction
- undertake cost analysis
- advise on a procurement strategy
- identify, analyse and develop responses to commercial risks
- provide advice on contractual claims and disputes
- analyse outcomes and write detailed progress reports

Minimum 5+ years of similar experience within the same field as a minimum.
