The Ayrshire Hospice provides quality specialist palliative care for adults with life-limiting illness within Ayrshire and Arran. We provide a wide range of services and care in people’s homes, care homes and hospitals, as well as in the hospice itself. This is provided at no cost to our patients or their families. Our vision is to reach and improve the lives of everyone in Ayrshire affected by life-limiting illness.

**_ What We Are Looking For_**

We are looking for a motivated and talented Retail Support who will help us grow our retail shops and help boost and generate income for our organisation.

Working closely with the shop management teams and our Retail Development Officer the post holder will support our highly successful retail division and will be responsible for providing cover and support to all retail teams during periods of absence due to planned/unplanned leave including the store manager. You will also provide temporary leadership of volunteer staff in the delivery and management of a professional shop retail function on a daily basis. You will drive income through careful selection of goods, pricing and effective merchandising of goods in-store.

The post holder will be dynamic, flexible and motivated with excellent people skills who has the ability to work across several teams effortlessly.

The post-holder will cover a whole spectrum of retail duties. They will support operationally, ensuring a calm and methodical approach to prioritising tasks. They will need to be confident in representing the organisation externally and coordinate, develop and maintain strong working relationships.
