**Job Brief**:
We are looking for an experienced Content & Marketing Executive to assist in the planning, execution and optimisation of our online marketing efforts. The promotion of brand, category & product pages through digital channels is a complex procedure with great potential which becomes increasingly useful for companies such as ours, one of the UK’s most established e-commerce eyewear companies.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist the SEO and Content team in the formulation of content strategies to build a lasting digital connection with consumers
- Support the SEO channel by helping develop and execute optimised content taking into account best practices
- Work within the content & SEO team in all aspects of SEO including but not limited to keyword research, link building, analysis and website auditing and developing recommendations from a content and technical perspective
- Overlook and be responsible for the continued organic growth of our UK and Irish Markets
- Key involvement in the internal projects to update the search and platform by providing recommendations to optimise organic search performance
- Collaborate with our designers to improve user experience
- Measure performance of digital marketing efforts using a variety of Web analytics tools (Google Analytics etc.)
- Acquire insight in online marketing trends and keep strategies up to date

**Requirements**:

- 2+ years proven experience in a content marketing role (preferably B2C)
- Experience proofreading, editing and managing the workload of a team of content writers
- A creative and engaging writing style
- In-depth knowledge of SEO, meta data and keyword research (desirable but training will be given)
- Fluency in everything Google Analytics
- Experience using a CMS to upload and edit content
- A very strong grasp of grammar and spelling

**Salary**: £29,000.00-£33,000.00 per year
