**Fitter - Torrent Trackside**

- **Salary**: Competitive |
- **Closing Date**:Wednesday 04 January 2023- As a Fitter, you will be responsible for carrying out equipment repairs and servicing on a range of Petrol, 2-Stroke and Diesel equipment in accordance with the approved maintenance schedules, and ensure that any necessary spare parts are requested in order to facilitate the efficient repair of equipment.- The successful applicant will be efficient and be able to maintain required standards whilst turning equipment around as quickly as possible, minimising any downtime impacting the customer.- The role is primarily depot based Monday to Friday but onsite and weekend working will be required at the request of the customer.- Railway experience would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be given to obtain PTS/LUL certification as required.**Skills & experience required**
- Relevant Mechanical/Electrical Qualification such as NVQ or Proven experience in maintaining small plant
- Ability to Obtain PTS/LUL certification
- Full UK driving licence
- Basic Literacy & Numeracy skills
