**Job description**:
The role holder will lead a team of policy officials on policy development and maintenance, taking forward legislation and ensuring policy is delivered. They will work closely with teams across the Department, including service delivery colleagues responsible for a range of DWP benefits. Close working is also required with policy teams across government including Home Office; Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office; HM Revenue and Customs; Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities; Department for Health and Social Care; and Department for Education.

The Migrants Access to Benefits Team forms part of DWP’s International Strategy Division and the role holder will also play an active role in the Divisional Leadership Team.
