Mae’r Ombwdsmon Gwasanaethau Cyhoeddus yn dymuno recriwtio Swyddogion Ymchwilio yn ymchwilio i gwynion oddi wrth aelodau’r cyhoedd am driniaeth annheg neu wasanaeth gwael oherwydd diffyg o ryw fath ar ran cyrff cyhoeddus datganoledig yng Nghymru. Bydd yr Ombwdsmon hefyd yn ymchwilio i gwynion a wneir am Gynghorwyr mewn awdurdodau lleol yng Nghymru a allai, o bosib, fod wedi torri Cod Ymddygiad statudol eu cyngor.

Fel Swyddog Ymchwilio, byddwch yn canolbwyntio ar yr achosion mwyaf difrifol ac yn rheoli llwyth achosion sy’n amrywio o ran cymhlethdod, ar draws nifer o feysydd. Gan ddarparu profiad da i gwsmeriaid drwy gydol y broses, byddwch yn:

- Dadansoddi gwybodaeth fanwl er mwyn cyrraedd a deall craidd y gŵyn
- Canfod a chael tystiolaeth yn brydlon
- Gwneud penderfyniadau ar sail tystiolaeth, a chyflwyno’r penderfyniadau hyn mewn adroddiadau ysgrifenedig grymus
- Ymgysylltu’n effeithiol â’r achwynydd drwy gydol yr ymchwiliad
- Datrys achosion drwy ymgysylltu’n adeiladol

- Sgiliau cyfathrebu rhagorol ar lafar a’r gallu i gwrdd â rhanddeiliaid wyneb yn wyneb, o bell neu dros y ffôn
- Sgiliau rheoli achosion effeithiol a’r gallu i flaenoriaethu gofynion sy’n cystadlu â’i gilydd
- Gallu diamheuol i weithio'n dda yn annibynnol ac fel aelod o dîm

I wneud cais am y rôl hon, bydd angen i chi ddangos tystiolaeth o’ch profiad a’ch arbenigedd wrth gynnal ymchwiliadau cymhleth mewn gwasanaethau proffesiynol/y sector cyhoeddus neu ymchwiliadau safonau rheoleiddiol a/neu foesegol. Are you passionate about public services in Wales and ensuring that where services fall short, there is recourse through an independent complaints system? Do you have experience of complex complaint or regulatory and/or ethical standards investigations?

The Public Services Ombudsman is looking to recruit Investigation Officers, to investigate complaints from members of the public about unfair treatment or poor service through some failure on the part of devolved public bodies in Wales. The Ombudsman also investigates complaints made about Councillors within local authorities in Wales who may have breached their council’s statutory code of conduct.
