**Electrical and Instrumentation Apprentice - Kirriemuir - 4 year programme - c£23k in first year**:

You’ll join a four-year programme, with a wide range of learning opportunities between onsite training, college attendance and external training courses.

We own and operate the national gas network, delivering energy to where it is needed in every part of the country.

You’ll join the National Gas Transmission Ops team at Kirriemuir, one of our operational sites around the country. Working with a larger team you’ll maintain pipelines, terminals and compressors to ensure the safe, secure and reliable operation of the gas network. The gas network that keeps our homes warm and our lights on.

At the end of your four-year programme, you’ll receive your level 3 qualification in Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering. Then you’ll take your first operational job at National Gas and start your career.

You’ll need to pass at least 3 GCSEs in Maths, English and Science, at level 4 or above or equivalent. You’ll also need to be able to display good communication skills and a willingness to learn.
