Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and ‘hands on’ experienced Head Greenkeeper to join our team.

Due to its coastal location our natural golf course, with magnificent views over the Irish Sea, can be challenging but also rewarding.

This position will suit an experienced deputy greenkeeper wanting to step up or a head greenkeeper wanting a new challenge.

Skills Required:

- Management skills
- SQV Level 2 in Turf management, minimum
- PA1, PA2 & PA6 certificates
- Good communication
- Experience in the management, maintenance, and use of machinery
- Keen golfer

Duties involved:

- Lead the greenkeeping team and plan their day-to-day duties
- Liaise with management on development of the course
- Turf maintenance: fertilisation, drainage, irrigation, and mowing
- Identify and control of pests and disease
- Sourcing and ordering products
- Ensuring machinery is maintained
- Keeping Health and Safety and COSHH records up to date
- Responsible for greenkeeping buildings kept clean and tidy

You will need to be flexible with your working hours which will include some weekends. You will need your own transport due to our location. Competitive salary based on skills and experience. Accommodation is available in the form of a lodge.
