**Senior Application Architect, Linux, Middleware, TCP-IP, Unix, Oracle, Databases, Cloud, Virtualization**
- Supporting appropriate solutions and designs to meet resiliency and stability requirements
- Proactively managing and reducing risk in the infrastructure environment, including stability, resilience, currency, and security risk
- Driving financial consumption optimizations levers to create capacity creation opportunities (increase ROI)

**Skills and knowledge required**:

- proven experience in Infrastructure/ Technical Architecture and/or solutions engineering and design experience.
- Strong understanding of networking and distributed systems (Virtualization, Kubernetes containers, DBMS).
- Experienced with design, delivery, and driving operational best practices in AWS or Azure platforms
- Past investment banking, payments, and trading systems preferred
- Architecture experience within large Financial Services (desirable) or Telco, Healthcare companies
- Experience with building systems factoring in High Availability, Performance, and Capacity scalability for the future
- Experience of a global working environment across multiple business areas, functions, and locations is a plus
