**Overview**:
We are seeking a kind and caring individual to join our friendly lunchtime team.

This rewarding role that involves supervising children while they eat and play throughout the lunch break; setting up tables and chairs,
cleaning tables and chairs and sweeping floors.

Required as soon as possible.

**About the role**:
The post holder will be responsible for:

- Supervising pupils eating meals
- Ensuring pupils eat their lunch in a sensible and appropriate way and do not share food
- Supervising play on the playground and school field
- Offering and instigating play activities in the playground, and indoors in bad weather
- Encourage standards of good behaviour by dealing with children in a positive, firm and fair manner
- Reminding pupils of the school rules
- Monitoring children in and out of the school building
- Assisting children (particularly the younger ones) with opening packaging of food and drink items
- Dealing with accidents in the playground, field, classrooms and dining hall and recording information

- Reporting any misdemeanours to the Lead Mid-day Supervisor and following the School Behaviour Policy
- Setting up and putting away tables and chairs
- Wiping the tables and chairs and sweeping the hall floor
- Attend training as required
- Any other relevant duties as directed by the Lead Mid-day Supervisor, Head Teacher or Senior Staff Member

**About you**:
Communicate well with children.
Take an active part in managing and leading outside play, promoting good relationships and positive behaviour.
Comply with policies and procedures relating to child protection, health, safety and security, confidentiality and
data protection, reporting all concerns to the Lead Mid-day Supervisor or School Business Manager.
Contribute to the overall ethos/work/aims of the school.
Attend training or meetings as required.
Have a sense of humour and works well within a team
