**Job introduction**:
We now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Marketing Executive to join our team. To support the Marketing & Communications Manager in all aspects of PR and Marketing.

**Main responsibilities**:
To generate new, original ideas and concepts for brand awareness campaigns (brand, membership and commercial services) and to support the Marketing Manager in developing action plans to reach specific market audiences.

Approve/upload stories onto ‘News & Views’ on the Chamber’s website using Wordpress. Plan, source and prepare 4+ press releases per month, and 4+ 300-word columns per month, for final signoff from the Marketing Manager.

Source content for regular eshots via mailchimp, including a small aspect of design. Final signoff from the Marketing Manager.

Create social media posts and schedule via hootsuite. Like, share and comment on Members posts.

To undertake PR and media work as required, to include research, writing content.

To support the design of Marketing and Comms collateral for digital marketing using Canva.

Liaise with external printers and designers to order printed collateral such as business cards, name badges, flyers and brochures.

Help the Marketing Manager ensure all Marketing and Comms are consistent within brand guidelines.

Support (and attend where appropriate) the Events team.

Raise purchase orders as required and support with analytics.

Ideally 1+ years experience in a Marketing support role

A good level of experience of all forms of Marketing reaches - including websites, e-comms, social media and PR.

Experience in Mailchimp, Wordpress, Canva, Hootsuite, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.

Excellent and versatile creative, writing and proofing skills.

The ability to multi-task and prioritise workloads in a fast-moving, deadline driven environment.

Proficient in Microsoft Office.
