We have an exciting opportunity available for a **Kitchen Supervisor **to** **join our team working on a full time basis, **40 hours per week, 5 days out of 7.** In return we will offer you an hourly pay rate of **£11.94 per hour **(increasing to £12.52 per hour if the location meets the monthly targets), a place to develop your skills and the chance to work in some of the UK’s most stunning forest environments.
**The Kitchen Supervisor Role**:
Open all year round, as our Kitchen Supervisor** **you play a pivotal role in our Forest Retreat building, the hub of the location. This is our reception, the first port of call for guests checking in on their holiday. It houses a shop, bar, and restaurant. Opening hours are location and season dependant but there are no late openings which allows a better work/life balance.
Working closely with the Forest Retreat Manager, we are looking for an individual with a real passion for great food to supervise our catering provision, so delivering exceptional customer service is essential. You will ensure our guests receive food of the highest standard whilst ensuring all our kitchen Health & Safety obligations are met in full.

Our ideal Kitchen Supervisor will have previous experience in catering, purchasing and stock control and is passionate about all the little details that make a holiday great. Responsibilities include:
- Food preparation and handling.
- Prepare and cook all orders and ensure the quality and presentation of the food is to the highest standard.
- Comply with Health and Safety / Food Hygiene in Catering and complete required paperwork associated within a food environment.
- Understand and encourage the principles of safe food handling to ensure all food preparation undertaken in the kitchen is to the highest standards of hygiene.
- Manage the cleaning rota, to ensure the regular cleaning of all kitchen areas, equipment and appliances to meet the required high standards of cleanliness.
- Supervise and train other team members to ensure they follow the above
- 16 - 17 year olds paid at £6.40 p/hr (increasing to £6.72 p/hr if targets met)
- 17 - 20 year olds paid at £8.60 p/hr (increasing to £9.03 p/hr if targets met)
