Procurement Administrator

Ontic is the leading global provider of OEM-pedigree parts, MRO Services and serviceable parts for legacy aerospace platforms. Due to our continued success and to support our ambitious growth plans we are looking for a Supply Chain Administrator to join at our sites in Staverton, Gloucestershire. This opportunity is for a 3-6 month Fixed-Term Contract.

What you’ll be doing

As part of your responsibilities, you will assist the Procurement teams with administrative duties, playing a pivotal role in facilitating smooth operations. This will involve communicating the open order book with suppliers and proactively requesting updates from them. Additionally, you will be responsible for adding confirmed delivery dates to the ERP system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is available for the team. In cases where delays occur, you will promptly communicate these issues to procurement stakeholders for timely escalation, enabling effective problem-solving and minimizing disruptions in the supply chain.

What you’ll need to know

You’ll need to possess a high level of literacy and numeracy, with the ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively with all level of external and internal stakeholders. You’ll need to be comfortable using Microsoft Excel and Word, and ideally you’ll have had experience working with an ERP system (though this is not essential). You’ll be flexible in your approach and able to thrive in a fast paced and busy environment whilst maintaining excellent organisational and record keeping skills.
