**Sales Representative**

**About Us**: Namaste is a leading wholesale & retail company. We specialise in fair trade products, handcrafted by skilled artisans from around the world. Our exciting product ranges are ethically sourced and we supply shops and businesses throughout the UK and Worldwide.

**Your duties & responsibilities will include**:

- Notify customers about special promotions and discounts available
- Check orders are correctly imported from the website with specific delivery requirements & discounts added
- Process order payments
- Ensure information relating to customer accounts is recorded accurately and kept up to date in accounting system
- Check product availability for customer orders regularly, notify customers when stock becomes available & process back orders
- Liaise with Warehouse Team on specifics of orders & delivery
- Communicate with customers about out-of-stock items, offer alternatives & expected delivery dates
- Promote the company’s strengths, range of products & seasonal product launches
- Demonstrate excellent product knowledge of new, existing & bestselling lines
- Recommend products based on a good knowledge of the customer & business
- Make out going customer calls to promote Namaste products.
- Log customer contact calls made in accounting system
- Support the company in growth & expanding its customer base.
- Deliver excellent customer service
- Guide customers to new products and products that may be of interest to achieve maximum sales
- Liaise with parcel carriers to ensure customer expectations for delivery times are met
- Assist with general office activities as set by the Sales Manager
- Conduct all work activities in accordance with the values and ethos of the business

**Knowledge & Experience Required**
- Proven experience as a Sales Representative & customer service
- Knowledge of accounting systems, Outlook, Word, Excel
- Thorough knowledge & understanding of Namaste product ranges

**Position Key Competences**
- Commercial awareness of the retail & wholesale sector
- Hardworking & motivated with attention to detail
- Excellent communicator

- Highly customer focused
- Enjoy building relations on a 1:1 basis as well as part of a team

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: £26,006.00-£27,504.00 per year

Expected hours: 40 per week
