Peripatetic Manager

The Leader Group are looking for an experienced Registered manager to join the team to support services that do not have a permanent manager in post. As a Peripatetic Manager you are expected to be flexible regarding travel to support the region.

You will manage homes in the absence of the Registered Manager for vacancy. absence or annual leave. Additionally you will support and Mentor New Managers and those who are experiencing operational difficulties.

The role
- Lead, supervise and support the team to ensure a quality service
- Control of the budgets within the service
- Planning and implementing new developments
- Overall responsibility for the home
- Recruitment of all level of staff within the home
- Provide induction training
- Promote good communication
- Monitor performance and source additional training
- Involve the young people in activity and decision making where possible
- Establish and maintain good relationships with outside organisations
- Ensure the building is in good condition and Health & Safety regulations
