Our client is a high growth, multi-site SME business based in Ely, Cambridgeshire with plans for future expansion. The business combines manufacturing with a sustainable ethos that provides a cutting-edge product range that is used by a number of highprofile businesses. As a result of a change of structure, we are recruiting for a Finance Business Partner, to lead the provision of finance business partnering support to the newly established team, including: costing, pricing, margin review, factory performance,projects /capex, and reporting / forecasting / budgeting.
Reporting into the Segmentation Director You will be responsible for:

- Coordination of the quarterly forecast, annual budget, strategic plans and supporting analysis / presentations including commercial and operations assumptions.
- Estimating product costs for new business opportunities, working collaboratively with the relevant costing teams.
- Analysing cost performance on existing products
- Lead finance support for new business pricing (SPCs) to ensure reflects updated view of profitability and point of contact for the SPC pricing model queries from the internal and external sales teams.
- Provide control by analysing price and margin performance against expected returns
- Review of low margin business.
- Review of other factors impacting margins including rebates and freight.
- Review of cost performance including output, efficiency, conversion cost, materials usage and indirect costs
- Working collaboratively with site accountants and plant management teams.
- Support on business development projects including business case financials.
- Minimum 5 years experience within business / functional area
- Minimum 3 years in finance environment
- Proven track record in finance business partnering
- Highly experienced within finance or general broad knowledge of several functional areas
- People person with strong communication and influencing skills
- Can conduct meetings with people at all levels of the organization
- A critical, methodical mind capable of weighing up complex scenarios
- Strong Excel skills (including pivot tables, basic SQL, vlookup etc)
- High attention to details and works very accurately
- Management of finance projects
