**Marketing Content Creator & E seller**

**Location**: Cottingham, HU16 4

**Reports to**: Events and Communications Coordinator

**Part time**: 30 hours per week, normally between Monday to Friday, however the post holder must be willing to work some weekends, early mornings and evening when required

**Starting Salary**: £22,000 per annum FTE

**Who are we?**

R-evolution is a growing charity in the Humber area. We are led by people who are passionate about upskilling and increasing active travel. We have a great reputation across the Humber with strong partnerships and a staff team of 22 working from 6 sites with 8 satellite locations.

We work with partners, volunteers, and trainees to deliver training and specific projects mainly towards active travel agendas in the East Riding and Hull.

**ROLE**:
**Purpose of Role**

Follow and create marketing plans in conjunction with marketing consultant and marketing personnel.

Post content to all our electronic and social media platforms on a regular basis

Respond to Social Media enquiries

Organise sale items ready for sale on our electronic platforms such as eBay and Facebook marketplace.

Confirm and create accurate literature relating to the sale items.

Photograph sale items

Publish and list sale items with accurate product details on all our electronic marketplaces.

Respond accurately to all questions related to sale items.

Organise delivery/postage of all sold items.

Publicise/Organise local sales/yard sales through advertising campaigns to create as much interest as possible.

Administration relevant to the projects

**Responsibilities**

**Content**:

- Be responsible for liaising with internal staff about required content
- Chasing content to ensure it is produced and published as per the marketing plan timescales.
- Establish strong and trusted electronic selling through available platforms such as eBay.

**Person Specification**

Good secondary education with grade B or above in English at GCSE or equivalent.

**Skills - Essential**
- Excellent verbal communication and networking skills
- Excellent organisational, planning and prioritisation skills
- Excellent design skills to develop promotional and marketing materials using software such as CANVA or similar
- Ability to manage project plans, timelines, and budgets
- Ability to create and maintain systems and procedures
- Excellent written communication skills in line with R-evolution’s style.
- Full driving licence and means to travel across the Humber area.

**Knowledge - Essential**
- Good working knowledge of social media platforms and electronic selling sites
- Understanding of health and safety

**Knowledge - Desirable**
- Knowledge of voluntary and community sector, statutory and private sector partners across Hull and East Riding

**Experience - Essential**
- Marketing
- Providing excellent customer service

**Experience - Desirable**
- Experience of working with volunteers
