**Dispatch Operative**

Working 8-12 Hours a day Maximum 60 Hours a week. Shift Rota - Some weekend work will be required.

Shifts Work -Flexibility required due to which department you will be assigned to. Normal Start times 06:00-08:00 (Flexibility required during busy periods)When its busy there may be a requirement to start 06:00

£520 per week - Salaried

Weekly Pay Paid on a Friday

**Duties**
- Load goods onto collection vehicles.
- Check delivery manifest corresponds with delivery notes,
- Check actual amounts dispatched and destinations are correct
- Safe operation of forklift trucks; conducting daily vehicle safety checks and completing records accordingly
- Ensure all finished goods pallets are securely wrapped before dispatch
- Achievement of set targets and performance standards
- Seek continual improvement in key target areas - productivity, efficiency, waste reduction, quality and costs.
- Assist the department supervisors in picking orders
- Moving required stock to dispatch when needed
- Unloading and stacking away empty trays
- Stacking products in correct area and stock control in dispatch
- Highlight any noticeable quality defects
- general housekeeping duties
- Undertake additional training as identified by your line manager
- Comply with all company regulations
- Ensure PPE is kept in a good condition and that PPE is always worn
- Be health and safety aware and report any issues
- Any other duties requested by dispatch manager and supervisors

**No previous experience required but always helpful and due to the location of the factory the ability to drive is desired as location is not accessible by public transport. Location is 19 miles north of Berwick upon tweed**
